Warwickshire based manufacturer Alchemie Ltd will showcase their range of polyurethane and epoxy products at this year’s Made in the Midlands exhibition. Visitors on the day will also have a chance to speak to staff with over 100 years of experience between them.
As one of the only companies in the UK who manufacture polyurethane and epoxy products to a range of industries, Alchemie is set to attract a range of potential customers to their stand at the MIM Expo on 1st July 2020. With technical staff on standby to answer any questions visitors may have, the company will also have technical and product brochures to give away along with Ridgid samples in their cast forms.
Alchemie is a great example of Midlands manufacturers who are investing in their business to improve the production processes and capabilities. These new investments include a factory and machinery as well as a research and development facility. On top of this, they have also invested in a mixing machine to reduce bottlenecks within the manufacturing process.
Recently, the company has developed new RIM materials for the automotive industry, alongside a new carbon-filled vacuum casting resin. Cliff Jones, General Manager at Alchemie Ltd, thinks guests should visit their stand because they are able to meet customer requirements quickly and efficiently, he continued:
“We are small enough to be flexible in our approach in meeting customer requirements but big enough to meet demands.”
Cliff hopes the biggest manufacturing event in the region will bring new business and increased presence in the market. The company joined the MIM family to increase visibility through social media outlets, networking and sharing best practices with members to make new connections within the industry.
When it comes to Brexit the company has plans in place to ensure the business is growing and thriving. Cliff said:
“We have built a new factory to increase warehouse capabilities and store more material. We are keeping abreast with what is happening in Europe throughout the supply chain and we are addressing issues as they arise. As we do all of the paperwork here in the UK, exporting isn't a problem.”
Alchemie Ltd is a privately owned U.K company with over 30 years of manufacturing experience in the Polymer Resin industry. Their core business is the formulation and manufacture of Epoxy and Polyurethane Resin products. They also manufacture and supply RTV Silicone Rubber and Model board, plus a wide range of Ancillary products.
Alchemie exports to over 50 different countries and their products are used across a diverse selection of industry sectors which includes; Composites, Formula 1, Rail, Oil & Gas, Pattern-making, Foundry, and Modelmaking.
